The purpose of this organization shall be to foster the ideals and principles of this chapter, the National Alumni Association, and Mississippi Valley State University; to foster and increase the understanding and affection between Mississippi Valley State University, the Memphis Area Chapter, the Alumni, and the General Public by maintaining close relations with them; to encourage projects in support of Mississippi Valley State University and its policies; and to help interpret Mississippi Valley State University to the supporting public and needs of the institution.
